Great Ideas: The Daily Line-Up

From the TCT archives: an easy way to keep track of which group lines up first.

Children in my first-grade class are seated in five rows or groups, each group named after a day of the week. I use these designations when the children line up for some special event. Whatever the day of the week, that group lines up first, followed by the others in sequence.

On a Tuesday morning, the line-up sequence becomes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday.
