How can a paper slide video be a work of mercy? A teacher from Washington D.C. shares how her seventh-grade class is doing just that.
Recently our first grade teacher learned that she has breast cancer and will need to have a series of procedures. She will be home-bound for the remainder of this academic year.
Knowing that she and her students would be enduring challenges, the seventh graders designed a Hearts of Encouragement paper slide video.
Paper slide videos offer the opportunity for students in a variety of subjects to design prayers, stories, and comments. In this case, we used this technique as a spiritual work of mercy offering prayers and hope from afar.
