A fun game to keep the hallway quiet as students travel between classes.
From the TCT archives: A motivating competition to keep noise down in the halls.
We start gym classes with the quiet “walking game” from the classroom. The class is divided into separate lines (boys and girls) and the lines are directed to walk quietly from the classroom to the gym.
Each talker gives the other team a point. We repeat the process on the return walk. If no one talks, the gym teacher “loses.”
Team winners are announced to the classroom teacher with much fanfare.
