Hearts and hands work to help others in this Lenten service project from the TCT archives
Throughout the Lenten season, our school raises money for our mission schools and parishes in Bolivia and Peru. Each student is asked to do chores to earn the money to be donated.
I ask the student each to make a paper heart using their hands as a way of realizing that through their hands they can make a difference in our world. I mount the pictures on black paper. A display in the hallway carries the message, “With our hearts and hands, we will serve the Lord.”
