From the TCT archives: begin the day with thinking skills

To increase the thinking skills of our students, we begin each day with special “Do Now” notebooks. A question/problem/puzzle will be on the board — a different subject each week. Students have a short time to respond with their answers in their “Do Now” notebooks.

The responses are corrected quickly, and the work of the day begins. This program is used at all grade levels.
