High-school students use technology to create presentations honoring veterans.
Carolyn Price, retired principal of Calvert Catholic Schools in Tifflin, Ohio, describes how technology teacher Dave Kraft leads his students in marking Veterans Day.
The high-school students interview veterans that live in the area, including those in nursing homes. The students add war scenes or other background to the filmed interviews and make these informative remembrance presentations at a Veterans Assembly for Veterans Day. Veterans and others are invited to attend and learn what these brave men experienced.
