Great Ideas: Bible Tasting

Work across ages and explore the Bible together!

Our seventh- and eighth-grade middle-school students are paired with pre-k and kindergarten children to conduct Bible tasting sessions. The middle schoolers select a Bible-story video to display on their Chromebooks. The younger students use earphones to listen to the story with their buddy.  A script is displayed at the bottom of the screen to support word recognition skills.

Puzzles, word finds, or coloring pages are created by students to follow up on each story. This project includes two Bible-story tasting rotations per week for four weeks. It supports the goal of middle-school evangelization using faith-based activities.
