From the TCT archives: honoring the Blessed Mother at school and at home
Once a week our small statue of Mary goes home with a different student. A paper accompanying the statue explains that it should be put in a special place in the house where members of the family can honor Mary. It may be with a family Rosary, grace before the evening meal, or a morning or evening prayer together.
The student notes where the statue was placed in the home and how Mary was honored.
During May I arrange a classroom display showing how Mary, for whom our school is named, visited our homes during the school year.
