Great Ideas: The Lighted Desk

A teacher-tested way to acknowledge good behavior during Advent.

As a way to praise positive behavior during Advent, I decorate one desk with Christmas lights. The student exhibiting the best behavior sits at that desk the following day and is the line leader for that day.

I display photos of the students who have been chosen to sit at the lighted desk as a continuing reminder of the importance of positive behavior.
